Wisconsin Slates Fish Catchin’ and Cookin’ Seminar

The free, three-session workshop will cover everything from knot tying and casting to fish identification and cooking the catch. The mix of indoor and outdoor lessons are for people 15 years and older. Participants are required to attend all three sessions.

Guest speakers include area state and tribal fisheries biologists. Registration is limited; register with our partners at Wisconsin Sea Grant.

8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Interactive workshop
1:15 – 3:30 p.m. | Optional instructor training workshop where we’ll train you to hold a class or fishing clinic of your own.

This workshop is being offered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Wisconsin Sea Grant with support from the Lake Superior Reserve and the Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve.

COST: Free, but you must have a Wisconsin fishing license to fully participate.
