Whitetails Unlimited Grants $20,000 for Missouri Special Needs Hunts

Whitetails Unlimited awarded a $20,000 grant to the Mid-America Special Sportsman’s Association located in Rocheport, Missouri. The organization concentrates on serving area individuals with special needs by providing them with hunting opportunities. Their focus is on individuals who are sight impaired by using specialized digital sighting equipment.

Currently, MASSA has eight chapters in Central Missouri that are dedicated to helping individuals with special needs enjoy the outdoors. These outdoor activities are educational in that it teaches individuals that they are able to do things they thought might not be possible. In most cases, the volunteer provides a little extra help.
