Whitetails Unlimited Grants $13,000 to Illinois Youth Archery Program

Whitetails Unlimited recently granted more than $13,000 to the Sugar Hill Archery Club located in Eureka, Illinois. The club has helped establish National Archery in the School Programs in five area schools by providing bows, arrows, targets, and other archery specific equipment. Club members also provide training to teachers to ensure safe practices are exercised by students participating in the archery programs.

Sugar Hill Archery Club was established in 2010 and has grown every year since. In addition to establishing National Archery in the School Programs, the club also conducts a youth big buck contest each fall. Youth may enter a deer harvested with either a firearm or a bow with $150 going to two winners.
