Whitetails Unlimited Grants $10,000 to Mississippi Youth Mentored Hunt

Whitetails Unlimited recently granted $10,000 to the Briar Ridge Children Ministries headquartered in Eupora, Mississippi. The group uses hunting, fishing, and camping as a means to mentor youth.

Briar Ridge plans and implements various weekend retreats throughout the year. Most of these retreats are in the form of a weekend deer camp. Kids arrive at camp on Friday where they are assigned a mentor. Saturday morning and afternoon are spent in a deer stand. In between hunts is filled with fellowship, games, and a church service. There is one last hunt on Sunday morning before the kids head home.
