The Delta Waterfowl Expo ‘Volunteer Appreciation Night Out’ is Sponsored by RW Coolidge

On Friday, July 26, in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Delta Waterfowl and RW Coolidge will formally celebrate the essential force of the organization—Delta’s volunteers! The celebration will take place following the opening day of Delta’s annual Duck Hunters Expo.

Delta Waterfowl has more than 5,000 volunteers among the organization’s 377 chapters across the United States and Canada. Their exceptional commitment and effort drive the organization’s mission to produce ducks and ensure the future of waterfowl hunting. In addition to their support of Delta, chapters use a portion of their fundraising dollars to improve their communities through local projects, making positive impacts at both local and national levels.

“Our family, our dogs, and ducks continually inspire our brand,” said Kevin Goodrum, owner and founder of RW Coolidge. “The Delta volunteer family inspires us to work harder and to give more. We want to thank them for organizing and running events to keep waterfowlers energized and engaged in ensuring that the skies remain full of waterfowl. It’s our turn to give back to the group that selflessly gives for this mission. Now, all volunteers can enjoy this event—you all have earned it!”

RW Coolidge was established in 1927 with a mission to produce industry-leading, quality items for duck hunters and other outdoors enthusiasts that withstand the elements and the test of time. They offer a wide assortment of leather items, including blind bags, duck straps, gun cases, dog collars, and more. Also, a portion of their proceeds are donated to conservation groups like Delta to help ensure that hunters have plenty of ducks over their decoys for generations to come.

“Chapter volunteers are undoubtedly the lifeblood of our organization, and RW Coolidge presented themselves as the ideal sponsor for this year’s event,” said Brad Heidel, senior director of corporate relations for Delta Waterfowl. “They are built around a philosophy that holds family and exceptional quality in high regard, and our volunteers are both of those things and then some. We look forward to celebrating together in Baton Rouge.”

When you join an existing Delta Waterfowl chapter committee, you will attend meetings with other passionate waterfowlers, organize and participate in fundraising activities, and determine how your local chapter dollars are spent.
