Steelhead Outdoors Introduces More Firearm Safes In Popular 32 Size

Only American-Made, Modular, Fire-Insulated Gun Safe Company in USA

Shakopee, Minnesota – Steelhead Outdoors adds two more modular gun safes in its popular 32 size.

Leading the way in firearm safety and protection, Steelhead Outdoors announces the expansion of its premium modular gun safe series with two new offerings in the popular 32 size. The Rustic Nomad 32 and the Recon 32 are built to provide security, versatility and American-made quality for hunters, shooters, and firearm collectors. The 32 model number corresponds with the gun safes’ exterior width. Depending on the adjustable interior configuration, a Steelhead Outdoors 32 safely store 8-19 long guns.

The Rustic Nomad 32 is a unique addition, featuring the Rocky Mountain Rust finish, featuring the beauty of natural age, patina, and rust. The rugged yet refined exterior is created using a meticulous process of oxidizing and neutralizing raw steel panels before applying a matte clear powder coating. Prices for the Rustic Nomad 32 start at $4,000.

Joining the Recon series of tactical safes, the Recon 32 modular gun safe sets itself apart with a custom roof rack, designed to store extra gear and range bags securely. The rack’s raised perimeter helps prevent items from falling off, and the flat textured black finish with blacked out hardware adds a stealthy, minimalistic look. Prices for the Recon 32 start at $3,900.

The new Nomad 32 provides offering a mid-size option for those seeking a perfect fit for their firearms collection. All of Steelhead Outdoors’s modular safes are proudly made in the USA, ensuring unmatched quality and precision-engineered versatility. Customers can choose between a dial mechanical lock or a push-button digital lock for their safe.

What sets Steelhead Outdoors’s modular gun safes apart is their ease of mobility and assembly. Unlike traditional safes that often require hiring specialized moving companies, Steelhead Outdoors’s safes can be moved and assembled by just two people, eliminating costly or dangerous DIY misadventures.

The patent-pending construction of the Steelhead Outdoors safes features a dual-stage fire protection system that does away with the need for dehumidifiers. A radiant heat reflecting coating rejects incoming heat, and the metal interior, made from nearly 100 percent nonflammable materials, provides added protection. The ceramic fire insulation used in the panels is rated to withstand temperatures of up to 2300 degrees, ensuring optimal security for precious firearms.

“We recognized the demand for more mid-size gun safes in our most popular finishes,” said Steelhead Outdoors Co-Founder Corey Meyer. “We’re pleased to add these options to our standard lineup. We can still help customers design a custom safe that meets their size requirements along with a multitude of exterior and interior finish options.”

Steelhead Outdoors safes feature numerous high-end features, including double-wall construction with 12-gauge welded, powder-coated exterior panels and 20-gauge interior panels, along with a 7-gauge plate door (3/16”). A fully modular interior racking system ensures limitless configurations of shelving and gun racks, catering to individual needs and preferences.

These premium gun safes are available with either the group II S&G Titan direct-drive electronic keypad for rapid access or the group II dial lock for battery-less mechanical dependability, providing customers with reliable security solutions. The slip clutch in the handle protects the entire lock mechanism from attacks, while the cam-over-center direct-drive lock mechanism boasts metal bearings at every moving point.

Steelhead Outdoors’s commitment to customer satisfaction extends to offering custom color options and configurations, enabling customers to personalize their safes to complement their living spaces and preferences perfectly.
