Staying Hydrated in the Field With HOIST®

Staying Hydrated in the Field With HOIST®

As big game hunting season approaches, HOIST®, an innovator in the hydration industry, is proud to announce its latest initiative in the outdoor space. In collaboration with Aly Hall, @alyfromalabama a popular and valued presence in the outdoor space, HOIST is excited to offer essential hydration tips for hunters gearing up to hit the field.

Hydration is crucial for peak performance and safety while out hunting. Dehydration can lead to serious consequences like dizziness, heat stroke and decreased reaction time. Make your health an asset and not a liability when you’re in the field and use Hall’s tips to best navigate your surroundings, track game and stay alert. With these tips, Hall brings her extensive outdoor experience to provide advice on how to stay hydrated during those long hunting expeditions. Hall’s guidance, combined with HOIST’s scientifically formulated beverages, ensure hunters are prepared to tackle the demanding conditions of the wild.

“Hydration is more than just drinking water, it’s about replenishing essential electrolytes and staying ahead of dehydration,” said Hall. “HOIST has been a game changer for me when I’m out hunting. Their IV Level hydration helps maintain my energy and focus, which is critical when I’m outside for hours at a time. My top tip is to start hydrating before you even leave the house, and to keep a bottle of HOIST with you at all times.”

How to Stay Hydrated in the Field

  1. Pre-Hydrate: Start drinking water and isotonic beverages like HOIST well before heading out. Aim to be fully hydrated the night before a hunt.
  2. Pack Smart: Bring enough hydration. Carry a durable, insulated water bottle or hydration pack filled with HOIST to stay hydrated throughout a hunt.
  3. Hydrate Regularly: Don’t wait until dehydration signs begin. Sip on a hydration beverage every 15-30 minutes to maintain health levels.
  4. Combine Hydration with Snacks: Eat hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables along with hydration beverages. This helps replenish electrolytes and provides extra energy.
  5. Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: Limit or avoid caffeine and alcohol as they can increase dehydration. Stick to water and electrolyte-rich drinks for best results.
  6. Adapt to Conditions: Adjust hydration strategies based on weather and activity levels. Hot or strenuous conditions may require more frequent hydration.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Aly on this and leverage her expertise in the outdoor space,” said HOIST Director of Marketing Taryn Lawson. “Our goal is to ensure that every hunter is equipped with the best tools for success, and that includes staying optimally hydrated. Aly’s tips and our IV–level formula are the perfect combination for any big game hunter looking to have their best season yet.”

HOIST also recently collaborated with Realtree, launching the Blaze Orange flavor in January. The new flavor is wrapped in Realtree’s APX camo and combines citrusy sweetness with superior hydration benefits. Together, these partnerships underscore HOIST’s commitment to supporting the outdoor community with premiere hydration solutions.

HOIST IV-level drinks offer quick and refreshing hydration options, available in bottles, powder sticks and liquid pouches. As one of only three electrolyte sources approved for use by the U.S. Department of Defense, HOIST’s effectiveness in extreme conditions is well-documented.
