SIGHTRON, a global precision riflescope company, is proud to announce their Pro Shooters results from the 2024 Extreme Air Gun Challenge sponsored by Air Guns of Arizona and Air Guns of Oregon held May 2nd through May 5th at the Ashland Air Rifle Range in Ashland, OR.
The SIGHTRON sponsored SKOUT Airguns factory team competed in the 100-yard Benchrest Challenge in both pellet and slug and the Extreme Long-range Challenge at 145 to 300 yards. Competitors attended from all across the country to compete in this 3-day event comprised of multiple disciplines. They also had to overcome extreme weather conditions, ranging from mid 70’s and sunny to mid 30’s and sleet, with the snow line only a few hundred feet above the range.
The SKOUT shooters used SIGHTRON’s SVIII for pellets and S6 for slugs to overcome these challenges and were able to put up consistent scores allowing them to make it to the finals. Luke Sowinski put up the 2nd highest 3-card score in the pellet division. SKOUT Airguns Co-Owner Bill Gardner placed 1st in the 100-yard slug finals. Sponsored shooter Robert Steele tied for 1st in the Pellet division finals.

The windage and elevation knobs have 10 MILS per revolution. The new 40 mm body tube is waterproof, shockproof and nitrogen charged. Minimum focus is 10 meters.
