Shimano Introduces BT BAIT To North American Anglers

Finesse swimbait offered in both slow-sink and floating models

Shimano North America Fishing, a leading innovator in the global fishing industry, is proud to announce the highly anticipated introduction of BT BAIT in North American markets. This swimbait arrives from its proving grounds in Japan and is now available in both slow-sink and floating models, setting a new standard for light spin or bait finesse system (BFS) anglers.

Crafted with precision, BT BAIT features three hard body sections and a durable elastomer tail, ensuring a natural swimming action at any retrieval speed. SCALE BOOST technology sets this finesse lure apart from its competition with a composite-pitch hologram that mimics the realistic patterns of bait fish scales — enticing even the weariest of fish.

“We could not be happier to bring unique finesse fishing option to North American anglers,” says Freshwater Product Marketing Manager Bob Mahoney. “With both sinking and floating models available, this lure caters to anglers looking with forward facing sonar or casting to cover the water.”

The versatile BT BAIT is 99-mm in length making it an ideal choice for various conditions and applications. Available in six distinct colors allows anglers to ‘match the hatch’ and adapt to varying water and light conditions. MSRP: $18.99
