Savage Arms Announces Title Sponsorship of National Rifle League22 for 2024 Season

Savage Arms is pleased to announce its title sponsorship of The National Rifle League’s NRL22 Series— a national competition for one of the fastest growing disciplines in competitive shooting. The NRL22 2024 season kicked off in June. This sport is gaining popularity because it challenges participants to use precision 22 LR rifles to engage steel targets at a wide range of distances, and in a variety of scenarios and shooting positions.

“We’ve been happy to sponsor NRL matches over the years, and now we are looking forward to taking over the title sponsorship for the entire NRL22 season,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms. “We have great products for this type of event, so when the opportunity arose, we took it. It’s a perfect pairing.”

Products like Savage’s B22 Precision featuring a Modular Driven Technologies (MDT) chassis and heavy barrel are perfect for this challenging and versatile competition, and shooting style. In addition to the MDT chassis, the B22 Precision also features an adjustable comb and length of pull, the proven AccuTrigger® and a detachable 10-round box magazine.

“The B22 Precision and the B22 Precision Lite are terrific platforms for the NRL22 and we cannot wait to see more of them in competition,” said Travis Ishida, founder of NRL. “Savage has long been a household name in precision firearms, and with Savage’s extensive lineup of rimfire rifles we believe this will be a terrific fit. The NRL22 is truly excited to be partnering with Savage for the 2024 season.”

The NRL22 2024 season culminates in the championship match that includes 200 individuals, 100 of which are top scorers in a series of matches from across the country – making this competitive event one to watch.

The NRL22 Championship is a two day-match with competitors firing all .22 caliber rifles. The match consists of 24 stages, designed by the match director, with 250 rounds shot within each stage and 90 seconds allotted per stage. Target distances vary from 25 to 300 yards, making this competition appealing for a wide range of shooters.
