Rumpl Celebrates 10 Years With Relaunch of Original Puffy Blanket

Rumpl, inventor of the Technical Blanket category and the Original Puffy Blanket, proudly announces the relaunch of its iconic Original Puffy Blanket in a new and improved format. Marking a decade of innovation and over a million units sold, Rumpl sets a new standard in outdoor comfort with updated design features, including a new roll-top stuff sack, redesigned and multi-purpose Cape Clip® hardware, and trademarked sustainable insulation and materials.

The new one-person Original Puffy Blanket is now available at a lower price point, starting at MSRP $99, in both solid and print colorways. Updated with the redesigned and ergonomic Cape Clip® connection hardware, users can not only wear their blankets hands-free over their shoulders, they can now connect two blankets together or fold their blankets over into a makeshift sleeping bag. The new roll-top stuff sack increases compression for packing and enhances portability, while the blanket itself is crafted from Rumpl’s forward-thinking VersaWeave™ fabric and RenewaLoft™ insulation, made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and durable 30D Ripstop Nylon. Notably, each one-person blanket incorporates over 60 recycled water bottles, and the two-person version incorporates over 100, underscoring Rumpl’s commitment to sustainability.
