Best Made Designs, the developer of Spec.-Ops® Brand tactical equipment for Military and Law Enforcement, today announced that Jeffrey M. Wemmer, the Company’s CEO and Co-founder passed away unexpectedly August 6th in Midland, TX after a short illness. Mr. Wemmer, 60 years old, had been in excellent health and had been overseeing Spec.-Ops. Brand’s long-term strategic direction and day-to-day operations since the company was founded in 1998.
The Company issued the following statement: “We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Jeff Wemmer. On behalf of our management team and employees, we extend our deepest sympathies to Jeff’s family. Jeff was an incredible visionary and icon in the tactical nylon accessory industry and an uncompromising Patriot and advocate for manufacturing everything in the USA. The Company’s owners and employees, both past and present, as well as the many friends and servicemembers from all branches or the U.S. military and law enforcement, mourn his loss.”
