Born out of a vision to create a comfortable yet capable expedition vehicle in a smaller package, the AEV Ram 5500 is designed for those looking to go further without compromising versatility or luxury.
The complete package
When Bliss Mobil and AEV began planning for this project, the goal was to produce an effective, adaptable chassis that prioritized reliability and engineering of the highest quality. With CAD drawings directly from Ram in-hand, we were able to construct our proven torsion free subframe to Ram’s exact body builder specifications. While we focused on the sub-frame production, AEV worked hard to develop an expedition package that met and exceeded manufacturer specifications. Using their time-tested, industry-leading design from the 2500/3500 chassis, AEV enhanced the engineering to fit the requirements of the 5500 chassis. Equipped with beadlock wheels from Hutchinson Industries and 41” Continental MPT81 tires, the all-new AEV Ram 5500 is the very definition of a complete package.
