Gardarzi’s victory was hard-earned as the weekend presented numerous weather challenges. Participants had to contend with adverse weather conditions throughout the weekend. Day one was marked with heavy fog, while day two featured wind gusts reaching up to 20 mph, making it a strenuous match for all involved..
The 2023 PRS NW Regional Finale, hosted at the Central Oregon Shooting Sports Association (COSSA) Great Basin Precision Rifle Range by Regional Match Director Dane Lentz, featured a demanding setup testing the skills and precision of every shooter. The event was divided in half, with one portion of the competition offering natural shooting positions across a field-style match, and the other providing traditional barricades along a firing line. Participants faced 18-20 stages, featuring a round count ranging from 180 to 210, with stage times limited to 120 seconds.
