The .357 Mag features a 70gr projectile that travels at 1830 feet per second from a 5.6” barrel. That is 520 ft pounds of energy! Both the projectile and casing are plated as well. Most importantly, the projectile is designed to rupture after entry, which delivers ALL of the energy into the threat.
