Larry and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA and founders of the MidwayUSA Foundation, have been chosen as the inaugural recipients of the 2024 Golden Bullseye America’s 1st Freedom Award from NRA Publication’s Official Journal America’s 1st Freedom. The award recognizes those who have distinguished themselves as standout defenders of our Second Amendment freedom in business, politics, and/or American culture.
“Supporting the NRA is a no-brainer for Brenda and me and MidwayUSA,” said Larry. “After all, they are the foremost guardian of the right to keep and bear arms. Every gun owner and every business in the shooting sports industry should support the NRA.”
This year’s award ceremony will be held at the 2024 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas, Texas, on Friday, May 17, 2024. Recipients of this award are defenders of our right to keep and bear arms, whether in the political arena, in Hollywood, in the media, or in business. These defenders do their work in such a positive way that they are instrumental in enhancing and, therefore, saving this precious freedom for future generations. It is to commend them for all they do and have done for our freedom.
