Krieghoff Wins at the 2023 World English

E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground welcomed shooters from around the world to the 2023 World English Sporting Clays Championship. Krieghoff shooters were well represented on the podium in the Main and Supersporting events.

Krieghoff shooter Brandon Powell finished the Red Course with an impressive 97. He added 90 more targets to his score the next day for a final 187, which put him two targets from the lead as he headed into the Super Final. Successfully concluding the twenty-five target final round, Brandon captured the 2023 World English Runner-up title.

Team Krieghoff’s Karen Miles won her second World English Lady Champion title in as many years. Karen’s four-target lead dominated the Lady category and earned her top Lady Junior High Gun Honors as well.

Team Krieghoff shooters took the podium four times in Supersporting. Mike Wilgus finished High Gun Runner-up after a strong performance, Karen Miles placed Lady Runner-up, Junior shooter Turner Parcell took 3rd in his category, and Will Fennell posted a Veteran Runner-up finish just one target off the top position.
