Hornady Sponsored Shooter Jake Vibbert Wins THS Steel Classic PRS Match

(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® congratulates Jake Vibbert on his performance at the THS Steel Classic PRS Match, July 15-16, 2023, in Fort Pierre, South Dakota.

Vibbert won the Open Division and took first place overall shooting Hornady 6.5mm 153 gr. A-Tip® Match bullets in his 6.5 Creedmoor. Vibbert has more national level pro-series match wins than any other competitor, and this victory extends his record to 36 wins.

“The winds on the prairie can make things tough, and they were switchy from stage to stage” said Vibbert. “I opted to run 153 gr. A-Tip bullets because of their incredibly high BC and consistency. Their ability to buck the wind really helped clench this victory among a stacked field of competitors.” he added.

Hornady employees Miles Neville placed 6th overall, and Jacob Morrow took Top Tactical.

A-Tip® Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, that moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-Tip bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
