(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® congratulates sponsored shooters Bennie Cooley and Josh Cluff for their performance at the NRL Hunter 2023 Grand Slam Championship, August 25-27, 2023, in Laramie, Wyoming.
Cooley took first place in the Factory Division and seventh overall using Hornady 6.5mm 153 gr. A-Tip® Match bullets in his 6.5mm Creedmoor.
“The 6.5mm 153 gr. A-Tip bullets absolutely crushed the targets regardless of distance at the NRL Hunter Championship this year,” said Cooley. “The A-Tip bullet is the most accurate bullet I’ve ever shot, and give me a distinct advantage in competition,” he added.
Teammate Josh Cluff secured a 2nd place finish in the Open Heavy division and a 3rd place finish overall shooting 6.5mm 135 gr. A-Tip bullets.
A-Tip® Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, which moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-Tip bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
