Hornady Manufacturing Company hired Scott McKelvey as director of manufacturing.
Headquartered in Grand Island, NE, Hornady manufactures bullets, ammunition, reloading tools, accessories, and security products.
As director of manufacturing, McKelvey will oversee manufacturing processes throughout all production divisions. He joined the company with over 20 years of manufacturing and engineering management experience. Most recently, he was the plant manager at Unverferth (formerly Orthman Manufacturing) in Lexington, NE.
“Scott brings extensive knowledge and experience that will serve Hornady well,” said Steve Hornady. “His proven capabilities in manufacturing management will undoubtedly increase our efficiency, productivity and quality. We’re excited for him to join our team.”
