The initial launch of shield replacement lenses this month will include Oakley’s popular shield and one-piece styles, the Sutro and Sutro Lite. Throughout the end of the year, lenses will be available for the Oakley Antix, Oil Rig, M Frame, and Radar. All lenses will be available in a variety of colors in polarized and non-polarized options.
“We could have easily purchased pre-cut shield lenses from overseas, but we waited until we could manufacture and quality check right here, as we do with all of our replacement lenses,” added Dill. “We have finally developed shield lens templates that hold up to our rigorous quality standards and installed the world’s leading shield-cutting equipment in our own lab.
