Leading air gun manufacturer, Crosman, has chosen to generously provide 12 Crosman Challenger Rifles to a variety of Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) junior events throughout the 2024 calendar year.
Such events include the JROTC Service Championships (both Regional and National) as well as the CMP Three-Position Air Rifle Championships (Regional and National). The Crosman Challenger Rifles will be presented to the overall Individual winner and overall Team in the sporter division at each competition.
“Our history of innovation laid the foundation for our partnership with the CMP, making shooting sports accessible to generations of youths, instilling the principles of firearm safety and marksmanship through air guns,” said Joe Brown, VP of Marketing and Product Development for Crosman. “Through our donation of Challenger rifles at CMP events, we directly support the CMP’s mission of firearm education and safety.”
For over a century, Crosman has stood as a pioneering force within the air gun industry. The company’s story began in 1923, driven by a commitment to making reliable and accessible air guns. That spirit of innovation led to breakthroughs like the first pneumatic pump air gun – revolutionizing air gun shooting sports. Crosman is based in Bloomfield, N.Y., where many of its products are proudly manufactured, including the Challenger air rifle and air gun pellets.
