These rifles are built upon the dependable bulged, forged trunnion platform of AK, now in two new calibers, 5.56NATO and 5.45x39mm. The BFT556 and BFT74 are truly the Evolution of Century Arms.
The BFT556 and BFT74 share numerous features, notably the namesake of the rifles: the bulged, forged 4140 steel trunnions. In addition, they share a 1.5mm manganese phosphate finished stamped steel receiver, 14×1 LH threaded barrel with AK74 style muzzle break, optic ready side mount, RAK-1 enhanced trigger, US Palm grip, paddle mag release and extended tab safety selector with bolt hold open. To distinguish them, the BFT556 features premium Russian red handguard and stock, while the BFT74 features premium maple hardwood furniture.
