Berger’s Dustin Flint Wins 2024 Louisiana Silhouette Championship

Team Berger’s Dustin Flint has won the 2024 Louisiana Smallbore and Air Rifle Silhouette Championship for the 6th straight year.

The Louisiana Smallbore and Air Rifle Silhouette Championship took place May 4-5 at the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Range in Gonzales, LA. The state championship featured matches in Smallbore Standard Rifle, Smallbore Hunting Rifle, Open Air Rifle, Target Air Rifle & Sporter Air Rifle as well as Chicken, Pig, Turkey & Ram championships.

Flint won with a Grand Aggregate score of 186/200, which consisted of a 2nd place finish in Smallbore Standard rifle, first place in both Smallbore Hunter and Open Air Rifle, and being crowned Turkey Champion.

“The Louisiana state championship has become harder and harder to win with the recent meteoric rise of great junior shooters in silhouette, so I’m very proud to win the sixth straight,” commented Flint. “This was my first opportunity to shoot the new Lapua Super Long Range .22LR ammo in a championship match and I am incredibly impressed with its performance in tough, tricky wind this weekend. This is without a doubt the best .22LR ammo in the world!”

Flint will compete next at the Missouri Highpower Silhouette Regional in June.
