Benelli USA Invitational Raises $124K for Freedom Hunters

On September 22, the Prince George’s Trap and Skeet Center in Glenn Dale, Maryland, hosted the 9th Annual Benelli USA Invitational. This one-day sporting clays event brought in over 150 competitive shooters and included military veterans on the team rosters.

The purpose of the Benelli USA Invitational is to raise money for the Freedom Hunters military outreach program. And raise money it did. This year, the Invitational and the parallel online auction pulled in a generous $124,000 to help fund the ongoing Freedom Hunters initiative.

Freedom Hunters is a 501(c) 3 organization that hosts a variety of outdoor adventures for wounded veterans, Gold Star families, and long-deployment service members and their families. The organization is funded through the charitable donations of outdoor and shooting sports industry members, as well as the support of individual hunting and shooting enthusiast through online auctions and private donations.
