APEX Ammunition Joins Sports, Inc.

Columbus, Miss. – APEX Ammunition is pleased to announce it has joined Sports, Inc. as a vendor, giving the buying group’s 500-plus dealer members access to APEX’s award-winning shotshell offerings for Waterfowl, Turkey, Upland, and Predator hunting.

Now that we are expanding our production, we felt the time is right to become a vendor with Sports, Inc. which will give sporting goods dealers easier access to our premium, ultra-high-density Tungsten Super Shot (TSS) shotshells, blends, and S3 Steel loads,” said Jason Lonsberry, President and CEO, APEX Ammunition.

APEX pioneered the commercial use of TSS – which is made from 18.1 g/cc density tungsten alloy, making it the most versatile and hardest hitting shotshell pellet in existence today – and handloads every TSS shell. This craftsmanship, coupled with APEX’s extensive R&D and stringent quality control, results in superior patterning and performance.

To meet a broad range of waterfowl hunters’ needs and price points, APEX now also offers TSS / S3 Steel Blends, and S3 Steel loads in addition to TSS. All APEX shotshells feature clean-burning powder and an advanced Tungsten-grade wad system to deliver the tightest patterns and best barrel protection possible.
