NWTF Convention and Sport Show Welcomes Purina as Longbeard Sponsor

The National Wild Turkey Federation announces Purina as a new Longbeard Sponsor for the upcoming Convention and Sport Show, Feb. 14-18, in Nashville, Tennessee.

“We are excited to announce Purina as the sponsor for our Dog Demonstrations and Waterin’ Hole at convention,” said Natalia Daniels, NWTF national director of corporate relations and licensing. “Their support not only enhances the enjoyment of our Convention and Sport Show for attendees but also contributes significantly to its overall success.”

With a legacy spanning over 90 years, Purina has consistently led the way in pet nutrition, dedicating itself to producing quality food for pets and shaping the future of pet nutrition. Purina will serve as the exclusive sponsor of the Dog Demonstrations held Thursday through Saturday at the Gaylord Opryland Event Center. Purina also takes on the role of co-sponsor for the Waterin’ Hole and invites attendees to visit booth 200 in the exhibit hall to explore their offerings.

“Purina Pro Plan is pleased to support the National Wild Turkey Federation and be a sponsor of the 2024 convention,” said Karl Gunzer, Director Sporting Dog Group. “We know NWTF members own a lot of sporting dogs and believe convention attendees will enjoy presentations from Mike Stewart of Wildrose Kennels and Jordan Horak of Juggernaut Spaniels.”

The Pro Plan team looks forward to giving out free samples, meeting convention attendees and answering questions about nutrition and training.

The NWTF Convention and Sport Show, sponsored by Mossy Oak, kicks off with a Wednesday evening social and live music with Country Outdoors in the Waterin’ Hole. Official Convention activities commence on Thursday, Feb. 15, featuring rendezvous sessions, the evening’s Kickoff Party and the grand opening of the Sport Show floor, which will showcase over 500 top exhibitors in the outdoor industry. Taking place from Thursday to Saturday, the NWTF Sport Show is free to attend for NWTF members and open to the public. The national Convention culminates with a worship service on Sunday, Feb. 18, marking the conclusion of the NWTF’s 48th annual Convention and Sport Show.
